Tillman Franks, seated
at right, appeared on "Tony Live" on KSLA-TV, Channel 12, in Shreveport, La.,
to promote his new book, Tillman Franks, I Was There When It Happened.
The program was hosted by popular Shreveport TV personality, Tony Taglavore,
shown at right. Tillman was on the show several times during the period from
5:30 - 7 a.m. Also on the program was The Great Claude King, seated at left,
who sang several of his monster hits. Assisting with the music, shown between
Claude and Tillman, were Bud Christian and Robin Vosberry. Robert Gentry,
who assisted Tillman in writing the book, also appeared on the program. Tillman
was very pleased at the response he got to being on the program. The program
took place on the stage of Shreveport's Municipal Auditorium, which was the
home of The Louisiana Hayride.
